Anthony is a straight shooter who dives into relevant details to establish a process, and investment rigour, with a focus on outcome-based client satisfaction. Highly intelligent, a strong communicator, and a willingness to go the extra mile for clients, Anthony utilizes his direct yet easy-to-talk to demeanour to uncover what truly matters to his clients.

Anthony joined Scotia Wealth Management in 2019 after spending time at another leading bank-owned investment firm where he ran his own practice.  With approximately 6 years in the industry, he leverages his 10+ year background in the technology sector to give him insights when assessing companies and understanding tech innovations. Anthony is adept at guiding investors through our increasingly digital investment environment to achieve their goals. He has watched advances rapidly change global investing and knows that while new and complex investment products create opportunity, they also come with unique risks.

Anthony’s technical background, family business experience and knowledge of capital markets can bring clients valuable insights. His analytical approach, married with his approachable demeanour, can bring clients a sense of calm and understanding even in the tensest situations. As an avid technology enthusiast, Anthony often consults with Scotia Wealth Management on business technology innovations to ensure the digital client experience is top-tier. Anthony firmly believes behind all the numbers and data is a story and looks to interweave this into meeting client objectives and goals.

Anthony holds the Chartered Investment Manager Designation (CIM®) designation and is Life Licensed (LLQP). Anthony also holds the title of Portfolio Manager, which is reserved for advisors who have committed to following a defined process of investing on behalf of clients. Anthony is always looking to hone his skills and continues to advance his acumen via various research resources or courses.

Anthony is formally trained in the field of Computer Systems Technology and attained an advance diploma from Durham College in 2006.

Anthony enthusiastically supports Peterborough Youth Unlimited, which provides a place for youth to get a meal, play a game, hang out, and get on the right path. He belongs to 100 Men of Peterborough, which supports a different charity each quarter, and serves on their steering committee. He also serves on the Peterborough Estate Planning Council to help the community at large – particularly to aid elderly people in gaining relevant estate planning information from industry leaders.

When Anthony is not reading up on the markets or checking in on clients, he can be found with his two sons and his wife enjoying quality family time – usually playing basketball, watching movies, or travelling. He’s also known to lift a dumbbell here and there, so if you catch him at your local gym early in the morning, be sure to say hello!

I believe that the high net worth individuals I work with understand there are unlimited choices and a myriad of financial advice solutions being thrown at them daily, mostly misguiding or underservicing them about banking and debt. My role is to educate and provide guidance on all the resources that can be deployed through Scotiabank Private Banking to further the individual’s financial well-being.

I am demanding of myself and my team in providing the best possible experience for every person, allowing us to understand and get deeper into what matters for each. In my over 14 years in progressively more complex roles at Scotiabank, I have a history of delivering a high level of value through that comprehensive understanding to create a customized financial plan for each client. With my rare blend of Business Banking and Personal Financial Planning, I am able to get through the noise of a client’s financial picture quickly, providing tailored solutions that not only benefits them today, but benefits them tomorrow as well.
